The Sewanhaka Central High School District Board of Education recently appointed Christopher Nelson to director of instructional technology and student achievement. Nelson will oversee the implementation and coordination of the district’s educational technology programs as well as the collection, management, and oversight of state reporting.
Nelson is presently director of strategic alliances for Teq. Prior to his position at Teq, he served as director of instructional technologies, libraries and computer services at North Syracuse Central School District; and director of instruction and technology at Sherburne-Earlville Central School District.
He was also regional coordinator of instructional technologies and library media services for DCMO BOCES in Norwich, NY.
As an adjunct faculty member in the business and computer science departments at Cayuga Community College, Nelson instructs A+ and MSCE certification and computing principles classes.
