Syosset High School alum Judith Hill recently released The Equation, a novel inspired by the north shore of Long Island, about a teacher who falls madly in love with a student.
Sarah Thompson was stunningly beautiful, compassionate, and unblemished. The only thing she wasn’t was 18. Her talent was writing, her nemesis—math. Enter Travis Hall—highly disciplined and accustomed to getting what he wanted.
A master at math, Travis comes to teach at Sarah’s high school in 1962 after suffering a life altering event.
