Carolyn Stone, a spokesman for the firm, when asked when the firm was hired, said “DKC was brought on board around the end of last year to assist with community communications regarding the removal of the tower and the construction of the new tank.” When asked about the upcoming tower, Stone replied, “We don’t have a start date yet on the replacement tank work, as we are still in the design phase. After the design phase there is the bidding and then the awarding. We are aiming for the spring as the start date, and are planning a public meeting in March.”
