I have read all of the editorials in the Port Washington News about the common core, APPR and InBloom fiasco, grateful to hear a dissenting voice. We are at a critical moment with five school weeks before NYS assessments begin.
Would you please write a story or editorial about the option to “refuse.” Many parents are not informed of this option and the reasons that they should. You may want to contact the district to get an update on their policy for those that refuse. Some school districts are not handling them well.
