Obituary: Joan F. Cokelet

Joan F. Cokelet, 80, formerly of Galway, NY, passed away on Feb. 23, at the Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs. Cokelet was born on July 19, 1933 in Floral Park, daughter of the late Thomas and Frances Trainor. She is the widow of Ronald W. Cokelet Sr. Survivors include her children, Maria (James) Wojna of Concord, CA, and their children, Sarah and Alisha; Constance Stockwicz of Clifton Park and her children, Michael, Chelsea and Paul, Jr.; Christina (Timothy) Garland of Ballston Spa and their children, Sean, Jonathan and Patrick; and Michele (Richard) Mone of Stillwater and their children Brandon, Kyle and Ashley. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her son, Ronald W. Cokelet Jr., and her siblings, Thomas and James. Services were held on Feb. 26 at Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes in Mechanicville, NY. Funeral Mass was held at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, in Hagaman, NY, with interment at St. Stephen’s Cemetery in Hagaman.
