Four Arrested For New Cassel Robbery

Four men were arrested on March 10 for a assaulting and robbing a man in New Cassel on March 10.

Police say at 2:25 p.m. at Roman Avenue and Wright Street, the 18-year-old victim was beaten by 19-year-old Kareem Turner of Coram, 17-year-old Charles Brown of Westbury, 22-year-old Shane Livingston of Coram and 19-year-old Gahfad Leflore. The men stole cash from the victim and then fled, according to police. 

The four men are charged with robbery and criminal possession of a controlled substance. Leflore is additionally charged with resisting arrest and was found to have an open Nassau County warrant for criminal possession of a weapon, possession of burglary tools, resisting arrest and numerous vehicle and traffic law infractions.
