Obituary: Kenneth Vianest

Former Hicksville resident Kenneth Vianest passed away on March 3 at age 85. He was a proud Navy veteran and retired NY Telephone Special Services. The Port St. Lucie, FL resident was the beloved husband of the late Josephine Vaio. He was survived by dear brother Francis and dear brother of the late Gus and William. Vianest was a loving father to three daughters, June Zounek (Robert), Judy Vianest-Piccolomini (Joseph), and Jayne Vianest-Cunningham (Guy) and devoted grandfather of four grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and one step great-grandson. He was also the loving uncle of many nieces and nephews and beloved companion of Marianne Boruch. A memorial mass was held at Holy Family Parish Church in Hicksville. Entombment was in Plainlawn Cemetery, Hicksville. Arrangements were entrusted to McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home Inc.
