Running Like The Wind

The Garden City Girls Winter Track Team recently competed at the trials for the Millrose Games where a 4x400m team of senior Laura Jaeger, junior Emma Gallagher, and seniors Emily Cafaro and Kelly Lawkins won the Nassau County section. The quartet ran a time of 3:55.33 which ranked them as U.S. #1 among high school teams at the time. On Jan. 25, the sprint relay team also had the fastest time in the country at the New Balance Games at the Armory.
