Local resident Chuck Idol is among those challenging the PSEG pole project, which involves the installation of 85-foot utility poles in Great Neck, Manhasset and Port Washington.
The technology entrepreneur has started a website, www.PSEGLongIsland.info, which he sees at a hub for information on the project. The site also has a link to a petition asking that the wires be buried.
