2nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade
After the success of the “first ever” Saint Patrick’s Day parade, last year, the Village of Farmingdale is planning to hold its second annual St. Patrick’s Day parade on March 23, at 1 p.m. The parade route will span from the Northside Elementary school, about a half-mile through to Main Street. A brief ceremony will follow the procession at 2 p.m., at the village green, where there will be family fun events and vendors serving refreshments.

12th Annual Community Summit Expo
On March 25, the Farmingdale Community Summit Expo and Health Fair will be held at Farmingdale High School from 6-8:30 p.m. The event is being organized by the Farmingdale Community Summit Council and sponsored by the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce. Chamber of Commerce Comedy Night
On March 27, join the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce, from 6:30-9:30 p.m., for its annual comedy night event at the Farmingdale Knights of Columbus headquarters, located at 1 Morton Street in Farmingdale. The event will feature three top comedians and will also include a buffet dinner, beer, wine, soda, coffee and dessert. Tickets are $25 and the proceeds go to support the Chamber’s Farmingdale High School Scholarship Fund and other community projects.
Basketball Fundraiser
On March 27, at 7 p.m., join students, faculty and staff, at the Weldon E. Howitt Middle School, located at 70 Van Cott Avenue, for a friendly round of basketball to help raise funds.

St. Kilian’s Food Pantry
Located at 140 Elizabeth Street, St. Kilian’s church serves anyone who lives within our parish boundaries regardless of religion, race or ethnicity. The Food Pantry is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. We are also available certain Saturdays by appointment only. Spanish translators are available Tuesdays and Fridays.
