Friends of Manhasset Crew will be hosting their second annual “Off The Water” 5K run on Sunday, March 30.
As has been their commitment to give back to other charities and in recognition that March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, 10 percent of the proceeds raised from the run, will be donated back to The DeRosa Foundation.
Friends of Manhasset Crew, Inc. is an all volunteer, not-for-profit 501 C (3) organization, established to support financially and otherwise the Manhasset High School Rowing Team. Friends of Manhasset Crew has touched the lives of hundreds of young men and women and has evolved through the years. The organizations helps the team to expand in size and scope, while simultaneously maintaining its commitment and mission to promoting the sport of rowing, integrity, discipline and the value of teamwork to the students of Manhasset High School.
The run starts in Flower Hill on Sunday morning, March 30, at 8 a.m., commencing at One Bonnie Heights Rd. You may register at www.nycruns.com/mhscrew.
