The Long Island GLBT Services Network’s Nassau County Center moved from Garden City to Woodbury last week.
“In the short span of just under three years, thousands came through our doors for life saving programs, to get tested for HIV/STI’s, take part in exhibits, arts and cultural events, attend a national LGBT Conference, volunteer, celebrate the launch of the nations first and only Gay PTA and build a stronger and more united community,” said CEO David Kilmnick in a letter.
The Center at Woodbury is located at 20 Crossways Park Dr. just off the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway.
“This new space will allow us to sustain our services in Nassau while we continue to explore the possibilities of buying or building our own stand alone center,” said Kilmnick.
The center begins hosting programs on April 1.
