Nassau Coach Of The Year

Ryan Schneider of Floral Park, who guides the Friends Academy varsity girls’ basketball team, was named Coach of the Year by Nassau County Section 8 basketball coaches. Here, he literally stands behind his team, which went 17-3 for the season and won the Long Island Class C Championship at St. Joseph’s College by defeating Pierson of Suffolk County, 60 to 48.
