Suffolk County police said a body was discovered in Huntington Wednesday night, but the death has been deemed non-criminal.

A police spokeswoman said the body was found on Wall Street, and cops were called to the scene at 11 p.m. Police did not say if the person was male or female.

News 12 Long Island reported that people in the area saw a fire and later figured out that a person was burning.

Suffolk police’s policy prevents the department from commenting on incidents identified as non-criminal.
