Currently on view at Village Hall in Farmingdale is the art work by our very own Farmingdale High School artists. Students in Ms. Nicholas’ Advanced Placement Studio Art Class photographed then painted in watercolor, scenes from around the Village of Farmingdale.
Students were challenged to look at their own familiar surroundings through the artist’s lens. The goal was to create engaging and colorful compositions from the often overlooked landscape of one’s own “backyard”.
The paintings will be on view from April 4 through June 1.
