Lawrence W. Flynn of Manhasset passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014. He was a 47 year member of Manhasset Lakeville Fire Department Co.#1. Served in the United States Marine Corp. from 1955-1962.
Beloved husband of Helen. Loving father of Theresa (Bob) Braun, Diane (Mark) Martin and Steven (Cindy) Flynn. Cherished grandfather of Christopher, Shawn and Jesse Martin; Courtney and Kevin Braun; Michelle and Aiden Flynn. Devoted great grandfather of Shianne and Caleb Martin. Sister of Dorothy Christmas. Also, survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held at the Fairchild Funeral Chapel,1570 Northern Blvd. A funeral Mass was Wednesday, April 10 a.m, St Mary’s Church, Manhasset with interment followed at Nassau Knolls Cemetery, Port Washington.
