Frank V. Castelli, a lifelong resident of Bethpage passed away at the age of 99 on April 27, 2014. A graduate of Farmingdale High School and of the Pratt Institute as a chemical engineer. Longtime Chemical Engineer at Republic Aviation in Farmingdale. After his retirement from Republic, he worked in his later years at Grumman Aerospace, Bethpage. An avid gardener, photographer and carpenter. He received many awards for Ballroom dancing. He enjoyed family gatherings at the family home in Montauk, along with fishing with his nieces and nephews. He is survived by several generations of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters and brothers, Rose Badstuebner, Albert, Josephine Hepner, Mildred Krich and Jimmy Castelli. A Funeral Mass was held Friday, May 2, at St. Martin of Tours RC Church, followed by interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx. Arrangements were entrusted to the Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc.
