It’s Time for Tea
The Oyster Bay Historical Society closes It’s Time for Tea! on June 8 and opens an art exhibit of work by Gregory Reid on June 13 in the Koenig Center. Works on display are for sale with a portion benefiting the OBHS. The reception is from 6 to 8 p.m. For more information call 516-922-5032.
Fabulous Interiors At Coe Hall
Coe Hall Mansion at Planting Fields hosts an exhibit through Sept. 30 featuring Fabulous Interiors by Elsie de Wolfe and Charles Duveen, 1915 – 1945 is open daily at Coe Hall from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Admission to the exhibit is free with $4 Coe Hall admission fee. The Tea House near the Italian Garden is open daily from 12:30 to 2 p.m.; entrance to the Tea House is free with $8 parking fee.

Gentle Yoga
The goal of this yoga series is to introduce the practice of yoga with classes focusing on mastery of poses, breathing exercises and meditation. Janina Lem will be the guide. Clams On The Cove
Finally, a clam fest; this one is a benefit for the Oyster Bay Historical Society, rain or shine, on June 6, featuring the Crosstown Blues Band, the Oyster Bay Brewing Company’s craft beers and Tommy Clams catering. Goya And Friends
The Friends of the Locust Valley Library presents a lecture on Goya and the Altamira Family at 7 p.m. This illustrated lecture will concentrate on Goya’s society portraits, particularly on the four done for the Count of Altamira. This is the first time the paintings on view at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC, from April 15 to Aug. 3, are seen together as a group in the U.S. The free lecture presented by Ines Powell, with refreshments takes place in the Community Room of the library. Garden Tour
The Main Street Association of Oyster Bay is hosting a Garden Tour on June 13, (rain date, Monday June 16) of four breathtaking gardens around the Oyster Bay area, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; followed by a luncheon at Periwinkles Garden Café located at the Hay Barn in Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park, from 1 to 4 p.m. There will be limited parking at the gardens so car pooling is encouraged. Please meet at Roosevelt Beach and leave your cars there for the duration of the tour. Fees: $60 for the Garden Tour; $85 for the tour and lunch (includes parking fee at Planting Fields). Nature After Dark

In nature, many animals begin to wake up after you have gone to bed. Spend an evening at the sanctuary for a live animal show with our nocturnal residents. Get Outdoors and Meet The Raptors

The Theodore Roosevelt Sanctuary is home to many birds of prey including hawks, owls, falcons, and a vulture, that can no longer live on their own in the wild. Come out to meet and learn about some of these amazing animals from a knowledgeable naturalist. $5 members/ $8 non-members. 1 p.m. All ages.

The North Shore Assembly of God, 84 Orchard St., Oyster Bay is operating a new food pantry for the community. It is meant to supplement the growing needs of the community.
