The Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District’s Stratford Road Elementary School recently welcomed children’s author Andrew Lieberman to speak to second and fourth grade students about his science fiction book, The Silversix. Lieberman read an excerpt from his book, explained how he was inspired to write and the importance of becoming a good communicator. The students also presented their own writing ideas to Lieberman, and worked on improving their reading and writing skills with the author.
