NBA star Nate Robinson will be conducting a three-day basketball clinic at the “Yes We Can” Community Center July 21 through July 23. Robinson will train girls and boys ages 11-18 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Robinson, currently on the NBA’s Denver Nuggets, has played in the NBA for nine years and is a three-time NBA Slam Dunk Champion.
The basketball clinic is for boys and girls “looking to improve and train like a pro.” It will feature training in areas such as: pick and roll reads, 1v1 moves, jump shots, defense, core strength, dribbling, and more.
“There is so much to gain from this amazing opportunity,” said Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth. “Training with a professional basketball player of Nate Robinson caliber is an experience no child will soon forget.”
All participants will receive an official Training with the Stars T-shirt and an 8×10 signed photo of Nate Robinson.
