Alyce P. Robertell, 91, of Deltona, Fla. passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, June 26. She was the beloved wife of her late husband Paul, with whom she shared 54 wonderful years. Alyce was born in Scranton, PA to Peter and Stella Siekierka and had a brother, Walter. She studied mechanical drafting at Penn State and worked as an executive secretary at Capitol Records and for local business owners in Manhasset, NY where she raised her family before retiring to Florida in 1976.
Alyce was a past President of Strathmore Vanderbilt Women’s Club of Manhasset, NY; Treasurer of the Empire State Club of Deltona, FL; and was involved in philanthropic organizations throughout her life. She had many interests, was artistically inclined, and enjoyed traveling, gardening, and tackling Do-It-Yourself projects.
The most important thing in her life was her family; she was a devoted wife and mother. Alyce is survived by her son, Paul (Kaye), Deltona, Fla. and daughters Pat, Silver Lake, Ohio and Alyce (David), Deltona, Fla. and six grandchildren, JP, David, Zachary, Jonathan, Juliet, and Samantha. Mom was an angel, who always saw the good in people and had a kind word for everyone. She was a friend to all and ready to help anyone in need. We love you Mom; you are missed dearly.
