Syosset-based David Lerner Associates, a privately held securities broker dealer will host a charity car show on July 27 at its headquarters, 477 Jericho Turnpike, Syosset. All proceeds from the event will be donated directly to the Nassau-Suffolk Chapter of the Autism Society of America to assist Long Island families affected by autism.
“The charity car show is one that helps make a significant difference for families throughout Long Island and one that we look forward to organizing every year,” said Lerner President John Dempsey. “The support we have received from the community has been tremendous, and this year’s event is shaping up to be the bigger and better than in previous years.”
The show is open to the public free of charge and is expected feature more than 100 classic custom and high-performance cars. Car owners interested in participating in the show can register their automobile for $20. Since its inception in 2010, the event has helped raise more than $10,000.
