Parties are brought to another level with the help of floral and event décor thanks to Flowers by Andrew Scott.
Located in New Hyde Park, at 816 Jericho Tpke., Andrew Scott Events is designed to be the community go-to retail florist, says owner Andrew Zecher.
“It was designed to be your community go-to retail florist providing the freshest quality flowers and unique floral designs,” Zecher said.
On Friday, July 18, there were cocktails, food and flowers to celebrate the grand opening of the shop, as well as a ribbon cutting ceremony
Zecher’s business doesn’t just provide floral decoration. Besides Flowers by Andrew Scott, another part of his company, deals with event décor and event planning.
Andrew Scott Events began four years ago in August of 2010. “It has quickly become the leading force in the wedding industry,” commented Zecher.
His goal, Zecher says, is to provide his clients with events that go beyond what they could even dream of.
The Andrew Scott Events division of the company provides upscale floral arrangements for weddings and private events, as well as full service event planning options for any occasion.
“We also have unique gifts and home decor items as well,” added Zecher.
Andrew Scott Events and Flowers by Andrew Scott have worked at locations on Long Island and beyond. Zecher’s business has provided its services at locations such as Chateau la Mer in Lindenhurst,
Cedarhurst Yacht Club in Lawrence, the Eventi Hotel in New York City, Cipriani Wall Street, as well The Inn at New Hyde Park.
The Garden City Hotel also receives business from Zecher. The company is the official florist of the hotel, and provides the hotel with floral designs for the lobby and restaurant.
