Obituary: Joan K. Bartscher

Joan K. Bartscher died peacefully on Sept. 3, 2014, at age 88, of Oyster Bay. Beloved wife of the late William. Loving mother of Jack (Patty) and David (Laura). Cherished grandmother of Christie Welsh (Sean) and Keenan Bartscher (Lucia). Proud great-grandmother of Adam Welsh and Mia Bartscher. Also survived by many loving brothers, sisters, relatives and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Dominic RC Chapel, Oyster Bay, NY Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 11:30 a.m. Interment is private.
