Westbury will welcome the Corner Bakery Café Monday Sept. 15, marking one more option in the neighborhood for diners looking for a cozy place to get breakfast, lunch or dinner.
The first 100 guests in line outside the restaurant at 6 a.m. will receive a commemorative Corner Bakery Cafe travel mug with free daily refills of coffee for one year. Throughout the first month, Corner Bakery Cafe will hold weekly drawings to award four lucky winners free grilled paninis for a year.
741 Merrick Ave. is Corner Bakery Café’s first Long Island location. Thomas Madalone, Operating Partner at Corner Bakery Café says they chose to open in Westbury because of its centrality.
“Westbury’s in the middle of everything. It has a great community environment and there’s a lot of nearby business that we’ll be catering to,” says Madalone.

Corner Bakery Café in Westbury is owned and operated by Four M Bakery, LLC, a group of veteran restaurateurs who have been in the industry more than 20 years. The franchise partners plan to open a total of 17 Corner Bakery Cafés in Nassau, Westchester and Suffolk counties over the next seven years.

Corner Bakery Café is a fast-casual restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The made-to-order food is delivered fresh to the customer’s table and meals are under $10. Corner Bakery Café’s menu boasts breakfast items such as sandwiches, oatmeal and baked French toast. The lunch and dinner menu includes a variety of soups, sandwiches, pasta and salads.
