On Sunday, Nov. 16 at 8 a.m., the Roslyn Chamber of Commerce will be holding the second annual Clock Tower Trot, a 4K run/walk through historic Roslyn Village.
The scenic 4K route runs along a stretch of Hempstead Harbor, past dozens of historic homes from 19th and early 20th centuries (including circa 1680 Van Nostrand-Starkins House), Gerry Park and the famous Ellen E. There will be medals for top finishers in various age categories. Three free memberships to LIFT Gym will also be awarded.
Fees for the race are: $20 Fun Run/Walk – 4K; $25 on the day of race. The fee includes a participant bib and tee shirt. Runners will compete along a police-controlled route.
After the race, there will be refreshments and race prizes. There will also be extra parking at the Roslyn Village Hall, 1200 Old Northern Blvd.
