After parading through town, Manhasset residents packed the stands in anticipation of a great game and the Indians delivered.
Jack Miller stole the show. His amazing performance gave Manhasset an easy win over Great Neck North.
Miller had an outrageous 210 yards rushing game, five touchdowns on  12 carries, The Blazers couldn’t seem to find an answer for this fantastic runner. Miller was breaking tackles and defenders couldn’t seem to catch him.
He also returned a punt 46-yards for a score to lead Manhasset in Conference III.  A truly memorable day for the young running back.
A big defensive play happened late in the second quarter; the defense caused a turnover on the six-yard line when Great Neck was about to score.
The defense didn’t permit room for the Blazer offense and caused them severe problems moving the ball.
Miller’s fifth touchdown halfway thorough the third quarter put Manhasset thoroughly in control at 33-0. Great Neck North falls to 0-5.
On defense, the Indians played the best they’ve played all year.
Truly a great game, the Indians didn’t disappoint and allowed only one touchdown very late in the fourth quarter – final score 33-7.
The big win provides momentum for the Manhasset Indians as they face North Shore in a crucial game this week on Saturday.
