Members of the Roslyn Chamber of Commerce attended the 30th Annual Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce Small Businessperson of the Year and Legislative Breakfast, held recently at the Crest Hollow Country Club.
The mission of the council is to address legislative issues that impact the businesses of Nassau County. They then pursue those issues at the appropriate level of government.
Greeting chamber members was Nassau County Legislature Judy Jacobs, who also attended, as did Roslyn resident and Town of North Hempstead Clerk Wayne Wink and East Hills resident and Town of North Hempstead Councilman Peter Zuckerman.
“It is always a pleasure to attend and to present an award to the honoree chosen by the particular chamber,” Jacobs said. “Local business is the backbone of the Nassau County economy and I applaud the work they do.”
