This year, Halloween falls on a Friday, which means that the trick-or-treating will inevitably turn into a weekend-long celebration, complete with costume contests, dance parties and horror movie screenings across Long Island. Halloween Burlesque Extravaganza
Coney Island Burlesque revive a spooky version of the “girlie revues” of south Brooklyn following the 7 p.m. Edgar Allen Poe parade through downtown Riverhead that comes at the end of the first day of a festival dedicated to the famed author of The Raven.
