Pre-School Showcase

Families with children one to four years of age are invited to attend Great Neck/Manhasset Community Child Care Partnership’s annual preschool showcase.   This year’s showcase will be held on Thursday, Nov. 6 from 7 – 9 p.m. at the Manhasset Public Library at 30 Onderdonk Ave. just off of Northern Boulevard.
This is an opportunity for parents to meet directors and teachers from north shore area preschools and daycare centers, ask questions, and learn how to assess what to look for in a quality early educational environment for their child. Information about daycare center options, preschool educational curriculum, safe environment, teacher qualifications, creative play and parent cooperative preschools will be available.   Information about scholarship opportunities for families in need can be found at the GNMCCCP table.  Light refreshments will be served.
The partnership is also currently working on an online version of its Manhasset/Great Neck Preschool Guide that will feature partnering preschool and daycare providers.  The guide should be ready for download by late November.
