Songfest Tickets Available
Tickets for the Village of New Hyde Park’s Holiday Songfest are now on sale in Village Hall at 1420 Jericho Tpke. in New Hyde Park, Monday-Friday, 8:45 a.m.-4:15 p.m. The show is Friday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 14 at 2 p.m. in the William Gill Theatre on the second floor of Village Hall. Tickets are $3 per person.
Exercise Class
The Town of North Hempstead’s Project Independence will hold an exercise class at 9:30 a.m. in Clinton G. Martin Park at 1601 Marcus Ave. in New Hyde Park.
Holiday Pie-Making Class
Learn to make holiday pies from the pros. A Taste of Home Bakery’s Head Baker and Co-Owner Rose Fuger will teach participants how to make beautiful and delicious holiday pies at 7 p.m. at 1992 North Jerusalem Rd., North Bellmore.
The cost is $50 per person and includes two pies to take home plus a beverage and snacks while you work. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the bakery at 516-486-1670.
Community Fund Meeting
The Herricks Community Fund will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the Herricks Community Center at 999 Herricks Road. in New Hyde Park.
PTA Meeting
The Garden City Park School PTA will meet at 8:30 a.m. at 51 Central Ave. in Garden City Park.
Inter-School PTA Meeting
The Manor Oaks School will host an inter-school PTA meeting at 6:45 p.m. at 1950 Hillside Ave. in New Hyde Park.
SAT Prep Registration
The SAT Prep Course will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 25 at the Parkville Branch Library from 6 to 9 p.m., 10 Campbell St. (off Lakeville Road), in New Hyde Park. In-person registration for this course is on Wednesday, Nov. 19 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Arriving early is recommended. Telephone registration for any remaining openings begins on Thursday, Nov. 20 at 10 a.m. by calling 516-466-8055, ext. 271.
Zoning Meeting
The Town of North Hempstead’s Board of Zoning Appeals will meet at 10 a.m. in Town Hall at 220 Plandome Road in Manhasset.

International Night
Eleanor Rigby’s, at 133 Mineola Blvd., will host International Night, complete with unique cuisines from different parts of Germany at 9 p.m..

The Town of North Hempstead’s Project Independence will hold a fitness program incorporating yoga, pilates, cardio and zumba at 12:30 p.m. in the Michael J. Tully Park multi-purpose room at 1801 Evergreen Ave. in New Hyde Park.

Enjoy a production of Our Town from the Wheatley Theater Company at The Wheatley School on Nov 20-22 at 7:30 p.m. The play stars Old Westbury’s Morgan Misk as Mrs. Webb and Rebecca Sonstein playing music.

The Hillside Grade School will hold a holiday vendors sale from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at 150 West Maple Drive in New Hyde Park. They have dozens of vendors to choose from.
