The Long Island Orchid Society will hold its gala holiday auction at the William M. Gouse Jr. VFW Post 3211, 320 S. Broadway in Hicksville. Astrological Forecast
An astrological forecast for 2015 will be presented by astrologer and lecturer Montgomery Taylor at 201 Levittown Parkway, Hicksville. Taylor will reveal and demystify what astrology is all about and what it has to say about the powerful changes for 2015 and beyond. These changes will be permanent and occur in all areas of life. Holiday Gift Extravaganza
A holiday gift extravaganza benefiting the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Center at Cohen Children’s Hospital in connection with the Joey Foundation will be held at Levittown Hall, 201 Levittown Pkwy. in Hicksville from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Shop more than 50 vendors. You can also take a picture with Santa. Bring toys, crafting items, puzzles, coloring books or money donations to benefit the hospital’s newly-renovated pediatric third floor playroom. WBAB and the John Theissen Children’s Foundation will be holding a toy drive to brighten the holiday season for sick and underprivileged children in Long Island. Please drop off new, unwrapped toys by Sunday, Dec. 21 at the Customer Service Booth in the Target Wing of the Broadway Mall.
