The month of December has brought many accolades to the Jericho girls varsity volleyball team. The team was honored with the New York State Scholar Athlete State Championship Award. This was followed by individual awards given by the Nassau Volleyball Coaches Association to Gloria Park, who received an All Class Award for her outstanding performance as an outside hitter and team captain. Madison Joyce won an All Class Award for her incredible level of play as the team’s Libero. Marissa Blaine received All Conference for defensive ability. Amanda Damon and Bianca Benayoun also received first marking period’s top Nassau County Scholar Athlete Award.
