Just in time for the holidays, Village Elementary School in Syosset held its annual holiday boutique. Students were excited to enter the gymnasium, which had been completely transformed into a festive boutique complete with an array of beautiful merchandise, cash registers and even a gift wrapping station. Checking their shopping lists and staying within their allotted budgets, the children happily shopped for presents for their family and friends. Some students even picked up a treat for themselves. Many parent volunteers were on hand to assist the students with their shopping, ring up their purchases and wrap their gifts. Much appreciation to event chairpersons, Ling Chen and Jane Weinstein, for organizing a truly fun and successful Holiday Boutique.
