Catherine Cornachio

Catherine Cornachio, age 90, formerly of Manhasset, passed away peacefully at her home in Somers, NY on Christmas morning. She was deeply loved by her seven children Lynn, Bill, Sherry, jack (who predeceased her), Joan, Donna and Chris; her 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Her husband, Bill, predeceased her in 1995. She is also survived by her brother Peter Gromacki.
Catherine embraced life fully. She was a lifelong learner: a daily reader of The New York Times, an avid bridge player and an active parishioner at St. Joseph’s Church.
Everyone who met Catherine was touched by her warmth, beauty, graciousness and elegance.
Their family plans a memorial service at St. Mary’s Church in Manhasset at a later date.
