Roslyn native Werner “Butch” Muller, Jr. passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on Monday, Dec. 8, 2014. He was born in Cincinnati, OH on March 3, 1950, to Werner C. Muller and Betty S. Akers Muller. Butch spent his early years in Roslyn and lived in Warwick, NY since 1997.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessica E. Muller, and son, Jake L. Muller, of Warwick, NY; his sisters Patty Muller of Richmond, VA and Barbara Muller of Seattle, WA and his niece, Liz Carr and nephew, Larry Weiss, along with many, many dear friends.
Butch had a special way of making people smile. He was able to captivate people with his infectious charisma and charming wit. If he could leave us with one lasting lesson, it would be to live in the present and “to be.”
Butch would want those who loved him not to mourn in his passing but to celebrate the life that he lived. A celebration and remembrance of Butch’s life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at 12 noon at the Warwick Valley Community Center in Warwick.
