Last Call Artist Competition

The Art Guild invites all artists to submit artworks for consideration for “Home On The Range, Landscapes We Love,” a Juried Competition and Exhibition. Submission deadline is midnight, March 6.
This exhibit will celebrate the landscapes, seascapes, and cityscapes that make our hearts sing—from backyards and gardens to majestic mountain vistas.
All styles from abstract to realism are welcome. Mediums may include but are not limited to acrylic, oil, watercolor, pastel, drawing, mixed media, collage, etching, prints or sculpture with pedestal.

The juror for the show will be Jane McGraw-Teubner. She has achieved the honored rank of Master Pastel Artist, awarded by the Pastel Society of America. She is also on the Board of Directors for the Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club and a Resident Artist in the Salmagundi Art Club in Manhattan. She studied with pastel artists Jeff Webb, Frank Federico, Albert Handell, Anita Louise West, Larry Blovits, Richard McKinley and at the Art Students League with Richard Pionk. She exhibits in galleries in New York City and the metropolitan area and teaches at the Teaching Studios of Art in Oyster Bay.
All artists, 18 years and older (high school students ages 14-18 years may enter in the student category), are invited to submit up to three artworks for consideration.

The show will be on view at The Art Guild’s home, Elderfields Preserve, 200 Port Washington Blvd., Manhasset, NY 11030, from Saturday, March 28 through Sunday, April 26.
Gallery hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. appointment.
An Artists Reception and Awards Ceremony will be held on Saturday, March 28 from 3 to 5 p.m.
There is much in the works for 2015. The Guild announces the resumption of classes for children and adults as  Feel at home at The Art Guild; take a class, participate in an exhibition, come to a lecture, volunteer your time, attend a workshop, or just come setup an easel on our lovely grounds and paint.
