Brian Smith is a standout midfielder for the Mineola Boys Varsity Lacrosse team. He currently has eight goals and eight assists through the first six games. He has helped the Mustangs get off to a 5-1 start to the season.
After transferring to Mineola High School from Holy Trinity last year, Smith played an integral part in helping the Mustangs get to the Class C Nassau County semi-finals and garnered an All-Conference selection for his efforts. He will continue to be an important part of the boys lacrosse team as they go forward this season.
Smith also was an All-County selection for the Mineola football that reached the Conference IV finals in the fall.
