The Kiwanis Club of Manhasset-Port Washington will host its first annual Pancake Breakfast in Port Washington on Sunday, May 3. The event will take place at the Port Washington Senior Center at 80 Manorhaven Blvd.
The Kiwanis Club of Manhasset-Port Washington just celebrated its 75th anniversary. With nearly 100 members, it’s one of the largest clubs in the region. Throughout the year, Kiwanis leads, supports and sponsors many causes in the Port Washington community, such as Helen’s Walk, Ronald McDonald House, Relay for Life, Red Stocking Review
and local scholarships for high school seniors.
The club has held an annual pancake breakfast in Manhasset for decades, but this will be the first
in Port Washington. It’s certain
to be a fun-filled morning with warm pancakes, sizzling sausage, crispy bacon and fresh fruit.
The atmosphere will be festive, with live music and arts and crafts for the children.
The doors to the Senior Center will be open from 8 a.m. until noon, and everyone can pay at the door. Adults are $10; senior citizens, $8; children, $7 and little ones younger than age 4 are free.
