Local Auxiliary Benefits AHRC Nassau

This June at their Garden Party, at MP Taverna in Roslyn, the Manhasset Auxiliary was pleased to present a check for $14,000 to Paul Giordano, President of Association for the Help of Retarded Children (AHRC) Nassau.  The money raised contributes to the AHRC’s community-based programs and extensive services for autistic and developmentally disabled children and adults, Camp Loyaltown, in Hunter, NY, as well as guidance and support for their families.
The money raised came from Manhasset residents, friends and families attending special events and contributing to their fundraising campaign.
The 2015-2016 Manhasset Executive Board was sworn in by Paul Giordano; copresidents Maura Demento and Tricia Dessi, vice president Vanessa Lowney and treasurer Heidi Franchetti.
