Nassau County police are investigating an armed home invasion in New Cassel early Monday morning.

A 61-year-old woman was watching television in the bedroom at her Sherman Street home when three men entered the room armed with a handgun, a cane and a stick, and demanded money at 3:10 a.m., police said.

The victim complied and the trio fled on foot in an unknown direction with cash, a debit card and personal papers. The victim was not injured.

The suspects were described as black men with slim builds wearing dark-colored hooded sweatshirts.
