On Sunday, Aug. 23, at 8 p.m., the famed Iranian singing star Hengameh will perform at North Hempstead Beach Park.
The concert is expected to attract an enthusiastic crowd. Admission is free and so is parking after 5 p.m.
Free bus transportation will be available to the concert from both Great Neck and Roslyn. Residents should call 311 to reserve a seat. On the evening of the concert, buses will depart from the following locations:
• Mashadi Temple, 54 Steamboat Rd., Great Neck: 6:45 p.m.
• Ahavat Shalom, 130 Cuttermill Rd., Great Neck: 6:45 p.m.
• Great Neck House, 14 Arrandale Ave., Great Neck: 7:05 p.m.
• Roslyn LIRR Station, Lincoln Avenue and Station Plaza, Roslyn: 7:30 p.m.
Hengameh’s debut album, Baray-e Didan-e To, has reached millions around the world. Her
second release, Artesh-e Solh, opened a new chapter in Hengameh’s singing career.
