Christie Merkle of Farmingdale passed on Aug. 12, 2015. Devoted wife of the late Eugene. Loving mother of Leisa Piccola (Alfred), Teresa Bendik (Jay), Corinne Carbone (Stephen), John Haas (kim) and John Merkle (Nancy). Cherished grandmother of Max, Samantha, Alex, Daniel, Ryan, Jessica and Allison. Also survived by her brother Donald Mauro. A funeral mass was held at St. Kilian RC Church. Interment at Long Island National Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the McCourt and Trudden Funderal Home, Inc.
