St. Peter of Alcantara is preparing for its 50th parish party celebration. The dinner dance will take place on Friday, Nov. 20, at the North Hempstead Country Club. The celebration will raise funds for the parish and its various ministries. The annual autumn gathering, this year themed “The Golden Gala,” is among Port’s most well-attended socials.
