Felise Glantz Kissell has been appointed chairman of the board of directors of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI). NIRI is the professional association of corporate officers responsible for communication among corporate management, shareholders, securities analysts and other financial community constituents. NIRI is the largest professional investor relations association in the world with approximately 3,500 members representing nearly 2,000 publicly held companies and over $9 trillion in stock market capitalization.
Kissel has served on the NIRI National Board for three years. During her tenure she has proven herself as an industry expert, an invaluable resource to the organization and a trusted leader within the Board of Directors. In her newly appointed role as Chairman, she will continue to support, advise, and lead NIRI’s strategic priorities.
In her day job, Kissel is an executive at HSN, Inc, presiding over Investor Relations and driving the company’s capital markets efforts. HSN, Inc. is a $4 billion interactive multichannel retailer reaching over 95 million homes just in the U.S. with one of the company’s television assets; HSN. The company is known for its portfolio of high-profile brands. She is also extremely engaged with her alma mater, Colby College, as an active alumni admissions interviewer for the New York metro area. She also serves on the MIR Advisory Council for Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business.
