On Monday, Nov. 23, at 7 p.m. at New Hyde Park Elks Lodge, there will be a discussion about Public Education at the Crossroads: Redefining Testing, Standards and Curriculum that pertains to Great Neck, New Hyde Park, Mineola, Williston Park, East Williston, Floral Park and Port Washington.
Among those attending will be Joseph Rella, EdD, superintendent, Comsewogue UFD; David Gamberg, superintendent, Southold & Greenport SD; Steve Cohen, PhD, Shoreham-Wading River CSD; Michael Hynes, EdD, superintendent, Patchogue-Medford CSD; Ralph Ratto, elementary school educator, president of New Hyde Park/Garden City Park Teacher’s Association; Edward Ra, Nassau County Assembly Member, Ranking Minority Member of the Education Committee.
