A 66-year-old man was fatally struck by a snow plow in front of his Oyster Bay Cove home the day after a blizzard blanketed Long Island in more than two feet of the white stuff.
Nassau County police said Al Mansoor was standing in front of his Cove Woods Road home when he was hit by a plow that was clearing snow from his property at 2:15 p.m. Sunday.
