Sports for the Community, a nonprofit organization is offering a Spring 2016 outdoor youth soccer clinics for all levels, boys and girls, ages 4-12 years old with the goal of providing fun, appropriate and exciting skill training and game competition at a critical age for soccer development.
In addition, the six-week clinic helps children develop skills for the future including teamwork, commitment and communication with others.
The Soccer for the Community Youth Spring Soccer clinics are at the following locations: Cedar Creek Park in Seaford, Cantiague Park in Hicksville and Michael J. Tully Park in New Hyde Park.
The clinic at Cedar Creek Park, which is open to boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 12, will be held on Wednesdays from 5 to 6 p.m., March 16, 23, 30 and April 6, 13, 20, rain date April 27.
The clinic at Cantiague Park, also open to boys and girls ages 4 to 12, will be held on Tuesdays from 6 to 7 p.m., March 15, 22, 29 and April 5, 12, 19 or Fridays, 6 to 7 p.m., March 18, 25 and April 1, 8, 15, 22, rain dates April 26 and 29.
The clinic at Michael J. Tully Park, for boys and girls ages 4 to 12, will be held on Tuesdays, 5 to 6 p.m., March 15, 22, 29 and April 5, 12 and 19, rain date April 26.
