Reelect Comer For Trustee

Nancy Comer is energetic, imaginative, persevering and integral for the Port Washington Library. As a trustee, she helped bring in significant grant funding for important library programs. She founded and helps run the library’s Books for Dessert program for people with disabilities. This program won a national award for service to library users with disabilities. Nancy is active in the planning and marketing for the new Children’s Library and was instrumental in planning facilities improvements to upgrade learning spaces for library patrons. Her career experiences as an editor, writer, designer and marketer for both national print and online publications specializing in women’s issues, health, medicine and developmental disabilities have been an asset to our library. A longtime resident of Port, Nancy has served on boards and organizations for breast cancer, the North Hempstead Community Development Agency and Community Mainstreaming Associates (CMA). She is also the cofounder of our local Baxter’s Pond Association. Vote “yes” for the library budget and reelect Nancy Comer.
