ADM, JJS- TOB Animal Shelter Free Rabies Clinic

Oyster Bay Town Councilman Anthony D. Macagnone (left) and Receiver of Taxes James J. Stefanich (right) recently attended the Town ofADM, JJS- TOB Animal Shelter Free Rabies Clinic Oyster Bay’s Free Rabies Vaccination Clinic held at the Town of Oyster Bay Animal Shelter in Syosset. The rabies clinic allows residents to get these important inoculations for their pets free of charge. It is recommended that dogs, cats and ferrets older than four months receive their first two inoculations one year apart and receive boosters every three years thereafter. Councilman Macagnone and Receiver of Taxes Stefanich are joined by (left to right) Dr. Anthony Tundo of the Carman Avenue Veterinary Hospital, Animal Warden Christopher Campion and Deputy Commissioner of the Town of Oyster Bay Animal Shelter Laurie Scarpa who were all on hand to help deal with the large number of animals who arrived to be vaccinated and to assist residents interested in adopting a dog or cat.
